Welcome to BPS Weekly Newsletter -  12th June

We hope everyone is keeping well .  As you are aware, we have welcomed some of the Year 6 children back into school.  They have all settled back in extremely well, are happy to be in school, all be it in a different set up and have all adapted well to the 'new routine'.

As you may be aware, the Government announced this week that not all children will be returning to school this term.  We want nothing more than to welcome all the school back together but we know that this is not possible to keep everyone safe.

We have made the decision to delay the returning of Year 1 children to the 22nd June at the very earliest. This was not an easy decision, but one that we hope you understand as we need to ensure that the plans we have put in place are the best and safest for all those involved.

We will also be reviewing the provision for any other Year 6's who wish to rejoin school and will update when there is any further information.

However, we will continue to review this fortnightly and we hope that we will be able to welcome more children from these Year groups back before the end of term.  We will of course keep everyone updated.

Please be aware that all absences throughout this time will be acceptable absences.

For those children coming into school, we ask that if you feel your child is unwell or showing any symptoms please keep them at home and inform the school as soon as possible. Please also stick strictly to the staggered start times of 8:30-8:45 for key worker children, 8:50-9:05 for Year 6's and staggered home times of 3pm for key worker children and 3:10pm for Year 6's.

If you need any advice, have any questions or need help logging into to the online learning platforms please don't hesitate to contact us.
