Good Afternoon Parents & Guardians
We would like to thank all children and parents who are not attending school for all of the fabulous work that you are doing at home.
We are making a few changes to KEY STAGE 2 lessons as we are aware that you are spending a lot of time in front of a screen!
WEDNESDAYS WILL BE A SCREEN FREE DAY!
SCREEN AWAY WEDNESDAY
Each Wednesday your child will be set a task which does not involve using a screen. We hope to develop their creativity, exploration skills, design and making skills!
Wednesday 3rd February they are to design, make and create a new BOARD GAME, which they can then play with their family!
Wednesday 10th February - Pupils are to try and learn a new skill. This could be anything from learning how to juggle, how to skip, dance, learning phrases in a different language!
Further instructions will appear on their platform each Tuesday. Images, videos etc can be uploaded later on in the week to their Tasks. We will produce an online gallery of all the games which have been uploaded!
Hopefully by now you have been to collect some resources from school, should you require them.
We are going to try this for a few weeks and will then seek feedback from parents to identify whether it is working at home!
FILMY FORUM FRIDAY
Friday afternoon we will be providing a link via Tasks for your child to watch an educational based film. They can then join in a forum discussion with their class friends. We hope this will give children time to think and reflect upon the world around them and will be a relaxing way to end the week!
Key worker Booking Form
This is now online and must be completed by 12 noon on Friday please. We can not guarantee a place after this time. You must have completed an application form and had it accepted prior to booking!
This can be found in the Parent Toolbox or by clicking this link

The National Voucher Food Scheme has opened for Primary Schools, so please keep an eye out for an email which will have your voucher attached and instructions how to redeem.
The next voucher will be sent on or around the 8th February to cover the final week before half term.

Home Learning
Thank you for all the work you are doing at home. Your child can access their learning through the Learning Platform in 'Things to Do".
We do understand how difficult it is at present, but can we ask that if you contact your child's teacher and do not receive a response straight away, that you bear with us. The teachers are working harder than ever - teaching the children in school, setting home learning for those not in school and marking work. Therefore, there maybe a delay in responding to you but they will respond when they can.
Whole School Zoom Quiz
