Welcome to BPS weekly newsletter- 2nd October
Good afternoon Parents and Guardians,
Firstly we would like to thank you all for being so supportive throughout this time. We are aware that there have been confirmed cases of COVID in nearby schools. Therefore, it is important to take a look at the Covid19 Guidelines in the section below for the latest information and ongoing steps the school is taking to reduce the risk of spread. The school has created a QR code which you will be able to scan at the school gate.
If your child attends breakfast or afterschool club and you haven't already paid for this half term please pay as soon as possible. The booking forms for next half term will be available on Friday 9th October.
Please also remain mindful of our neighbours and do not allow your children to play on their gardens whilst you wait at the gate.
Please inform the school prior to the end of the day if your child's arrangements for getting home differ from their usual routine.
We are proud that Belvidere Primary School has been recognized for their ongoing commitment and achievement in the School Games Programme during the Autumn and Spring Term.

Current Working Practices
As you are aware, the start and finish times for pupils has been staggered since we returned to school. We would like to thank you for your cooperation.
Due to the process working so well and efficiently, it has meant that the time taken to get each bubble into school has reduced.
Due to this, bubbles may be let into school slightly earlier than their start time if it can be seen that the majority of children from that bubble have come into school. This will ease social distancing around the school gate.
However, at the end of the school day, we will adhere to the designated end times.
Out of School Activities
It has been bought to our attention that pupils attend different sporting clubs at the weekend. Should your child attend any of these please try and ensure that they are having as little contact as possible with pupils from another school or bubble. This could be discussed with their coaches.
We are aware of cases now in local schools and that some of our pupils have been in contact with them. These pupils are now self isolating.
As you know the school is not permitted to run such activities at this time and we would advise you to consider whether attending these activities is essential.
We are very impressed with the independence development of all of the children in Little Bells walking into school on their own!
We are delighted to continue to run school meals. Please be aware all key stage one school meals are free.
We recommend a healthy lunch box following the Change For Life Healthy lunchbox guidelines and ask that no crisps or confectionery are packed in your child's lunch. Please also ensure that your child can open their own lunchbox. Follow the link below for tips and more information on a well balanced packed lunch.
We encourage you to bring in some joggers or an appropriate alternative for PE in colder weather.
WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT!
