Good Afternoon Parents & Guardians
We hope that everyone is well and keeping safe. We want to thank you all for your support over this difficult time, it is greatly appreciated. We understand how difficult it is for our Parents homeschooling and we just want to let you know you are doing a great job!
School is open for Key Worker children, however, we ask that they ONLY send to school on the days that you are working. It has been brought to our attention that some children are attending school when there is a parent at home, so we would expect that on those days, your child/ren DOES NOT attend school.
We CANNOT stress enough that the safest place for your child/ren is at home as this will help to stop the spread of the virus so we can all return to a normal routine quicker. A Key Worker place should only be used when there is NO ONE at home to look after your child/ren.
We are over subscribed with Key Worker places.
Children are required to wear uniform when in school.
Hot meals will be provided at the usual cost daily and paid for via ParentPay in the usual way.
We have changed the departure times for those in school to ensure social distancing can be maintained, please look at the table below to see what time your child/ren will be finishing school.
Arrival & Departure Times
|Elm, Ash, Willow & Oak Classes||9.00am||2.55pm|
|Maple & Beech Classes (Years 3 & 4)||9.00am||3.00pm|
|Cedar & Birch Class (Years 5 & 6)||9.00am||3.05pm|
Breakfast & Afterschool Club.
Breakfast and Afterschool Club will be available.
For Breakfast Club, children must be brought to the gate from 7.45am - 8.00am.
Afterschool Club will run until 4.30pm everyday. Therefore, pick up times are 4pm & 4.30pm. Children will be brought to the gate at these times by a member of staff.
If you require a place for Breakfast and/or Afterschool Club you MUST email by 3pm every Thursday your requirements for the following week to the following email address - firstname.lastname@example.org
If we have not received an email or you have missed the deadline, then we CANNOT accept any children due to staffing already being arranged.
Free School Meals
If your child receives free school meals, then we will provide a packed lunch that can be collected from school.
Please contact the school by 10.00am each day if you require a packed lunch.
Packed lunches will then be available for pick up from the school gate at 11.30am.
We advise you to wear a mask when dropping off and picking up around the school gate.

The message from the Government, this lockdown, is that it is important that the children access the Home Learning on a daily basis. To that end, the teaching staff will provide daily activities linked to the work being carried out in school with the children of key workers. Where possible, we will continue to deliver the curriculum that they would have accessed whilst in the normal school environment.
We do appreciate that this may prove challenging to those parents currently working from home. Teaching staff will be available should you require any help, advice or support during this time. Please be aware that there may be a delay in responding to emails during the working day.
Home Learning Survey
Thank you for completing the survey. We had over 150 families respond and parents will have been contacted regarding their requirements.
Should your circumstances change, then please do not hesitate to contact the school so we can offer you support.
