Good Afternoon Parents & Guardians

We hope that everyone is well and has enjoyed the sunshine - the children have enjoyed playing outside!

It was lovely to see the children all dressed in rainbow colours with rainbow hair!

Can we ask that when you are collecting your child/ren from school that you please try not to congregate on the corners of the road outside school.  Children who have already finished school are having to go on the road to get past these groups.  We thank you for your co-operation.

We hope that everyone has a good Easter Break and we look forward to seeing the children return to school on Monday 19th April 2021.

 Parents' Evening

Apologies that we had to cancel our Parents' Evening at very short notice. Unfortunately, the Firewall blocked School Cloud, the system we were using.

As you can imagine, we found this extremely frustrating.

We are looking to rearrange this after the Easter break so that it gives Shropshire Local Authority time to rectify the problem.

Many thanks for your understanding.

Contact Tracing over the Easter Holidays

To support the NHS Track and Trace process, we are required to report any positive cases of COVID for anyone who has either symptoms or a positive test that has occurred within 2 days of them being at school.

Therefore, please email the school -  admin@belvidere-pri.shropshire.sch.uk to let us know should this be the case.

Breakfast & Afterschool Club

Thank you to those that completed the survey.  Unfortunately, due to the low numbers requiring Breakfast Club, it is not viable for us to reopen it at the present time as we need to keep the bubbles separate due to the current climate that we are still in.

Afterschool Club will also not reopen for the rest of the school year.

We know that this will be a disappointment for you and apologise for the inconvenience it may cause.

We hope to be able to offer our Breakfast Club and Afterschool Club when we return to school in September where hopefully we will see all restrictions lifted and the children will not need to be kept in their separate bubbles.

School Lunch Menu

The first week back after Easter, we will be on Week 1 of the School Menu.

Attached is a link to a copy of the menu

Shoe Problems!

We appreciate how difficult it is at present due to the current climate to find and buy school shoes.

Therefore, until September children are welcome to wear comfortable footwear / trainers for school!

PE Days

On your child/ren's PE Day, please send them into school in their PE kit for the whole day.

Please ensure that the children have the Belvidere PE T-shirt or a plain red T-shirt and appropriate bottoms depending on the weather.  NO FOOTBALL SHIRTS.

We would also encourage them to bring a tracksuit top on their PE day to wear.

Please see the table below for class PE days

Ash Thursday (AM)
Willow Friday (PM)
Oak Wednesday (PM)
Maple Friday (AM)
Beech Friday (AM)

 Sun Cream

Now that we are enjoying warmer weather and the children are spending more time outside,  please can you ensure that your child/ren have sun cream applied before they come into school.

We are unable to apply any cream to the children throughout the day so please make sure that they are sufficiently protected.

Enjoy your Easter Break and keep safe.
