Good Afternoon Parents & Guardians
Following last nights announcement, we have opened school this morning for Key Worker Children.
The safest place for your child/ren is at home so please only use a Key Worker place if there is NO ONE at home to look after your child/ren. This will help to stop the spread of the virus and return to a normal routine quicker.
Arrival & Departure Times
|KS1 & KS2||8.45am - 9.00am||3.00pm|
Your children will be greeted at the gate by a member of staff before making their way into school as they have been used to doing.
The children will be brought out to the gate by a member of staff in their classroom groups.
Breakfast & Afterschool Club.
Breakfast and Afterschool Club will be available from tomorrow (6th January) so children must be brought to the gate from 7.45am - 8.00am.
Children will be brought to the gate by a member of staff at the designated times (4.00pm, 4.30pm, 5.00pm and 5.30pm). Parents will need to indicate when booking the time that they wish to collect their child (if you have not done so already). Please note that on a Friday, Afterschool Club finishes at 4.30pm.
If you have been allocated a Key Worker Place, please ensure that you inform the school of the days you require for the following week by the end of the school day every Thursday by emailing the following address - email@example.com
Should we not receive confirmation by the deadline, we will assume you DO NOT REQUIRE a place for that week.
Children are required to wear uniform when in school.
Hot meals will be provided at the usual cost daily and paid for via ParentPay in the usual way.
We advise you to wear a mask when dropping off and picking up around the school gate.

The message from the Government, this lockdown, is that it is important that the children access the Home Learning on a daily basis. To that end, the teaching staff will provide daily activities linked to the work being carried out in school with the children of key workers. Where possible, we will continue to deliver the curriculum that they would have accessed whilst in the normal school environment.
We do appreciate that this may prove challenging to those parents currently working from home. Teaching staff will be available should you require any help, advise or support during this time. Please be aware that there may be a delay in responding to emails during the working day.
We will provide further information as the week goes along.
Many thanks for baring with us during these tough times and we appreciate the support you have given us.
