Clubs throughout the Year

We have a wide selection of clubs, which cater for many of our pupils needs. Whether you are sporty, artisitic or musical I am sure we have something which will interest you!

Key stage 1 Multi Sports

Not sure what sport you enjoy yet...Well come and try them all in Belvidere Primary Schools' Key Stage 1 Multisport Club.  We play a range of sports such as: basketball,  football, cricket, hockey, athletics, Frisbee and many more.   The club is open to both boys and girls and is run during the summer term.

Year 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 Football

Make that last ditch tackle, save a penalty or score the winning goal in one of Belvidere Primary Schools' Football Clubs.  Improve your tackling, passing, shooting and many other skills with weekly practises.   We run separate clubs for Year 2, boys and girls throughout the week.   The clubs run during the autumn and spring terms and throughout the year we participate in many competitions with other schools.

Key Stage 2 Cross Country

Running along the side of the River Severn with its wealth of wildlife is a weekly occurance for pupils in Key Stage 2. We have a range of different routes, which even four wheel drive vehicles would struggle on but the Belvidere runners take it in their stride! This club runs all year round and will help you keep super fit!

Year 5 & 6 Netball

Come and play netball!  Score a goal or make that winning pass.    Learn to work as part of a team.  We play tournaments and matches with other schools in the spring and summer terms.  The club is open to boys and girls.

Key Stage 2 Cricket

Come and hit a 6 or knock the stumps in Key Stage 2 Cricket Club.  Improve your throwing, batting, fielding and bowling skills throughout the summer term.  During the term we participate in matches and tournaments against other schools.   The club is open to both boys and girls.

Year 5 & 6 Rounders Club

Hit a rounder, take that great catch or bowl your side to victory.  Practise and develop a variety of skills as well as tactics at Rounders' Club. We play tournaments and matches with other schools throughout the summer term. The club is open to both girls and boys.

The Community Choir

Come along and join the singing. This is open to pupils and parents. We are developing our reportoire of music led by Mrs Atkins from the Shropshire Music Service. 

Gardening Club

Gardening club is open to years 3 and 4! Get your wellingtons out, come along and join in.

Breakfast and After school Clubs

Breakfast club starts at 7:45am and afterschool club finishes at 5:30pm. If you would like to book your child into either of these clubs collect a booking form from the school office.
